Mikey Marget (they/them) is a freelance cellist & folk musician in the Twin Cities with over 10 years of teaching experience. In lessons, you can expect to learn a mix of traditional folk tunes, classical technique and repertoire, as well as improvisation.
Mikey loves the challenge of getting a cello on an airplane and has played festivals in Denmark, Croatia, Tunisia, Chile and across the USA. They have a Bachelor's in Music Performance with a Minor in Pedagogy from Lawrence University.
Outside of music, Mikey enjoys being out in nature, big dogs, and general silliness.
