Rock Band Camp

Ever wanted to play music in a real ROCK BAND? Well, this is your chance! Beat the heat and join us at the Blue Tree Annex this summer for a fun, comprehensive band camp where you can play music with others and get LOUD! Some experience necessary (see below).

Here are the deets:

Please have at least TWO years experience on your instrument! We can train/teach basic guitar, bass, keys and percussion, but some basic instrument knowledge is helpful. If you are unsure if you qualify for this camp, message us at info@bluetreemusiceducation.com.

Campers must bring bagged lunch and spill-proof water bottle each day of camp. Full rock show on stage and with lights at 2pm on the final day of camp! Family, friends and neighbors are welcome to attend.

GarageBand for Kids Camp!

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

Beat the summer heat by hanging out with Camp Director Jackson Catton at the Blue Tree Annex in July to learn how to create your own beats, music & original compositions using Apple's GarageBand in a studio setting. We had a BLAST last year, and this year we have a dedicated recording studio area as well as access to many instruments to utilize. And, we have AC!

Campers must have and bring their own Apple iPad with GarageBand installed, as well as a bagged lunch and spill-proof water bottle each day of camp. Listening party at 2pm on the final day of camp! Family, friends and neighbors are welcome to attend.

Puttin' on a Show: Kids Musical Theatre Camp!

Do you love musicals? Ever wondered what goes into creating one? Join other theatre lovers and a local Twin Cities theatre professional and see for yourself. Through exercises and games for vocal projection, storytelling, artistic expression and so much more, participants will take some prewritten ideas and help write and perform their own musical - all in the span of one week! From cultivating a story to creating characters and music - the work will come to life! A performance will be put up for families and friends at the end of the week. Music and materials will be provided.

Campers will need to bring a spill-proof water bottle (only water is allowed at the Annex) and a packed lunch each day.

Summer Choral Camp: ANIMALS!

Calling all you canaries and warblers out there! Come join us for our Summer Choral Camp where our theme this year is all about ANIMALS! We'll be roaring our way through this weeklong camp learning all about our voices, singing together and how to quack, woof, growl and cluck (all on pitch!) If that sounds like the cat's meow, this is the camp for you! Moooove on over and make some music with us!

This camp is perfect for anyone who loves to sing and learn some basic choreography. And our stage costumes will be fun!
