Stephanie Knapper (she/her) is a cello teacher located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Cello Performance from Minnesota State University, Moorhead in 2014 and then went on to get her Master’s Degree in Cello Performance from UW Madison in 2017.
After grad school, Stephanie made her way back to Minnesota to teach and play music. Stephanie’s dream is to ultimately play in a professional orchestra.
Stephanie currently is a full time member in the Mankato Symphony Orchestra, Principal Cellist in the Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra and she is also a substitute cellist for the Sioux City Symphony.
Besides playing music, Stephanie enjoys sharing her love of music through teaching. She has been teaching cello lessons since 2012 and welcomes students of all ages and difficulty levels. Stephanie enjoys teaching because music connects us in ways words can’t.
When she is not performing or teaching, Stephanie is probably spending her time teaching her Bichon Frisé, Winnie, how to communicate her needs by using buttons or teaching her ample amounts of tricks!
