Rachel Avery

Rachel (she/her) has an Associate Degree in Child Development and has worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in classroom settings where music was an essential part of the curriculum used throughout the day. She is frequently in awe over the magical transformative nature of music that she has not only observed in the early childhood classroom, but also experienced throughout her life.

A music enthusiast early on, Rachel desired to learn how to play many instruments. Throughout the years she was able to dabble with several of them, including clarinet, drums, guitar, piano, and flute.

Along with her love for music, Rachel has recently developed a love for yoga. She recently completed a teacher certification program and aspires to modify what she has learned in order to share the benefits of yoga with the youngest audience. She also has ideas percolating for a class that would combine music and yoga for toddler and preschool age groups.

Rachel lives in south Minneapolis with her husband, daughter, mother, and two cats. She enjoys her early morning coffee time with her cats, exploring the outdoors with her family, grain-free baking, reading (children’s books are some of her favorites), and photography.

Rachel teaches on MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS & SATURDAYS and has slots available NOW!
