Paige Erickson

Paige (she/they) is a lifelong violinist, playing since the age of 8. In their youth, they regularly competed and performed at the state level, as well as playing in youth symphonies, chamber ensembles, All-State Honors Orchestra (WI), musical theatre pit orchestras, and the UW Madison Summer Music Clinic.

Having attended an arts high school, their music education included genres like jazz, pop, tango, and taqsim. An interdisciplinarian, Paige studied violin performance at UW Milwaukee before completing a B.S. in Psychology and Master's in Public Health at the University of Minnesota. Paige has studied violin with Dr. Yuliya Smead and Dr. Bernard Zinck, and performed in masterclasses for violinists like Dr. Tyrone Greive and Philippe Quint. Paige is also the founder of the Con Brio Initiative, a public health project that promotes youth mental well-being through music.

In their spare time, Paige enjoys reading, gardening and playing music in small and large ensembles.
