Ken Schuster (he/him) has been teaching string instruments (violin, viola, cello, and bass) privately since 2016. He recently has added teaching beginner piano lessons as well. Ken graduated with a degree in Music Education from the University of Minnesota, Duluth where he performed with the symphony and chamber orchestras. While performing with the chamber groups, Ken had the opportunity to travel and perform in Panama and Cuba where he finally got to use his high school Spanish lessons.
More recently, Ken traveled to Haiti to teach orchestra instruments at summer camps with BLUME: Haiti and he can’t wait to go back!
Ken is a certified Suzuki Teacher through the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and loves to direct musical theater pit orchestras.
Ken has no current slots available but will be working on putting together a student strings ensemble for 2023. Stay tuned!
