Jackson Catton (he/him) is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, producer and Music Educator based in Minneapolis, MN. He has been teaching guitar since 2018 all over the greater Twin Cities area, including teaching at PIM Arts High School, Ramalynn Montessori Academy, Bach to Rock, School of Rock, Guitar Center, and Maestoso Music Studio.
With extensive experience in performing, touring, songwriting and recording with several different projects, Jackson has worked with the bands Tangles, Ashbringer, Falling, and his electronic project FEVER VISIONS. He has worked in a wide array of genres, including rock, metal, electronic, folk, country, and jazz. These experiences inform a teaching approach that places music first, with a focus on practical application of technique and theory that allows his students to flourish.
Jackson doesn’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to music education. Rather, he uses a flexible, dynamic curriculum that can be bent to meet the goals, learning style and pace of each individual student.
