Hunter (he/they) graduated in 2019 from University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Clarinet Performance with an emphasis in Piano. Since then, he has built over seven years of private teaching experience working with students of all ages and skill levels throughout the Midwest.
As both a performer and educator, Hunter's musical background spans a wide range of styles, from classical repertoire to free improvisation. During his college years, he spent several summers teaching at music camps, including programs at Lawrence University. Performing with ensembles throughout the Eau Claire area, Hunter has enjoyed performing publicly and has also shared his own solo music across the Midwest.
In addition to clarinet, Hunter performs and teaches flute, saxophone, and piano. He strives to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build strong fundamentals, confidence, and creativity while developing a lifelong appreciation for music. New to Blue Tree in 2026, Hunter is excited to share his passion and experience with his students.
