Emmy Woods (she/her) is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist living in Minneapolis, MN.
Emmy discovered her passion for music at age 9 when she began playing the recorder and continued to find joy through music as a member of the school choir and concert band. At 13, she started teaching herself to play guitar and began piano lessons shortly after. Music has remained a huge part of her life ever since.
As an experienced educator, Emmy has worked with students of all ages, preschool to adult. Her time as an early childhood literacy tutor helped her cultivate a teaching style that emphasizes joy through learning and student engagement.
When she’s not singing a song or teaching, Emmy enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, and supporting local music.
