Carlise, or Carl (she/her) as friends call her, plays cello and piano. Anyone who has a favorite dinosaur or a third favorite color is downright amazing in her book, which is an asset for early childhood teaching.
Carl discovered her love of music at a young age; almost too young. She didn’t yet have the fine motor skills to hold a bow, let alone a cello, but she loved playing “duets” with her mom. With mom holding the cello and fingering the notes, Carl could focus on comically pulling the bow across the strings using both of her toddler hands.
Since her early start Carl has gained many years playing music and she is excited to share those first fundamental moments with children.
