Beck Henning (they/them) developed a love for music and passion for singing
through middle school theater early in their life. They went on to earn a B.M. in
Vocal Performance, a B.M.E. of Music Education with a focus on choral music,
and a B.A. in German from Central Michigan University. They have performed
with regional and professional opera companies in the U.S. and Europe and have
won awards for their original choral compositions.
Beck’s goals as a voice teacher are to help students explore their voice and
express themselves through music while also building healthy vocal technique.
They aim to make lessons fun and encouraging no matter what goals the student
is working towards!
In addition to teaching at Blue Tree, Beck Henning is a middle school choir
teacher in Minneapolis Public Schools, and loves spending their days singing and
helping students grow a love for music.
