Rose Carroll

Rose (she/her) grew up in the Twin Cities and developed a deep love and appreciation for music and instruments of every kind. Her mother is a songwriter and recording artist who taught children’s choir as well as guitar and violin lessons, so there was always music in the house. Needless to say, music played a huge role in every aspect of Rose's life from childhood until now.

From a very young age, Rose loved music of all genres and made it a point to expose herself to everything from Patsy Cline to Nirvana to Alice Coltrane. She also attended the City of Lakes Waldorf School where she played violin, flute, percussion, guitar, and sang in the choir. She also began songwriting, and taught herself to play piano by ear.

At Blue Tree since 2018, Rose has done everything from Early Childhood music lessons to managing the busy office. She is now taking on the dual role of Enrollment Coordinator and Office Manager.

In her spare time, Rose can be found cooking and baking, compiling musical playlists from Abba to Zappa, writing songs, and taming her mischievous cats, Xander and Louie.
